This Season Behind The Lens - Winter 2024

From Host to Attendee - Networking in Melbourne

Hosting my second networking event was such an honour! You can dive into all the details in this blog post. Planning these events is no small feat (even with a great team behind me). So, I’ve decided to take a break from hosting for the next six months and enjoy being on the other side as an attendee.

As for the upcoming networking events, here’s where I’ll be mingling:
+ Convino Melb
+ Haus of Blanc - Thrive

Know of any other must-attend events? Let me know!

New Zealand & Brisbane Trips

I had the chance to head back home to New Zealand for a quick visit, where I spent some quality time with my gorgeous nieces and celebrated my best friend’s birthdays. I also managed to fit in three photoshoots! A month later, we headed to a family wedding up north, and for the first time in two years, I didn’t do a single drop of work - which explains the lack of photos! Pictured: I never knew wasabi oil with whipped feta could taste so good. @Emme in Fortitude Valley.

Dreamy Location Shoot

I’ve had the pleasure of discovering some stunning locations that align perfectly with my clients’ brands, products, or services, making my job a breeze and the results absolutely gorgeous! One standout shoot took place at a new venue (now featured in the Melbourne Photoshoot Venue Directory). Despite the gloomy, wet weather, it turned out to be a truly dreamy day with a new client.

Fun w/ Gorgeous Souls

I had a lot of fun at the latest Globe West event with Andriana from Peachwood Interiors - peek my favourite set up of the day. I also wrapped up another successful photoshoot with the dream team at CoTheory. Plus, I recently completed a two-day video shoot with The Palmier, which has quickly become one of my favourite ways to capture a brand’s essence and story.

What’s Coming This Spring?

No holidays in sight, but I’m excited about some fun shoots coming up! Both photo and video. While I don’t always share every project, here’s a peek at what’s on the horizon: working with a skin clinic, a keepsake journal brand, an interior stylist, an interior designer, two photographers, and two home décor brands. Plus, I’ll be dabbling in some prop making on the side and investing in my own marketing. That’s a wrap!
