SABI Social Lunch: Aesthetic Networking

On July 19th, I had the pleasure of hosting the second SABI Social Lunch. It was a gorgeous afternoon filled with meaningful connections and inspiring conversations. Building relationships through Instagram and networking has been key to growing my business, so it was a joy to create this event for other business owners.

Let's dive into the day, starting with the concept.

The Vision.

Inspired by the success of our first event in April, we aimed to create another memorable experience.

THE BRIEF
+ Open to business owners, creatives and freelancers
+ A 2-course lunch providing the chance to meet others
+ Indoor venue
+ SABI aesthetic, white light bright
+ Guest speakers from content creation, product-based businesses, and service industries

The Venue.

After the positive feedback from our last event, I knew I had to stick to Marble & Pearl, a gorgeous restaurant in Richmond. The food was divine, as usual! My favourites were the Peruvian Ceviche and the Salt & Pepper Calamari.

Collaboration & Highlights.

I was happy to collaborate with several talented businesses, each bringing something unique to the event and showcasing their exceptional skills and products. I am not a florist or a graphic designer, nor do I have beautiful products to showcase - this truly was a team effort!

  • Sarah from Wild in Love Floral created stunning flower arrangements that perfectly complemented our aesthetic.

  • Tanya from So Swell Studio designed the gorgeous menus and place cards. I love working with creatives who embody our vision with their creativity.

  • Tablescaped made a repeat appearance, providing their gorgeous Bon Appetit napkins, bread baskets, and scallop dishes. This set remains my favourite from their collection.

  • 35mm Co added a fun, interactive element by lending us their reloadable film cameras for guests to use throughout the day. We also gifted one of their very “SABI” cameras to a lucky attendee.

  • CoTheory generously gifted some hero stoneware pieces from their collection. Our lucky guest Ash even won two of these beautiful prizes, making the event even more special for her!

  • Beth, one of our guest speakers from Saint Jack, organised a giveaway. Providing one lucky winner with their coveted cleaning bundle, featuring the sell-out makeup brush cleaner.

  • Alana, my hair and makeup artist, was impeccable. She nailed the look, requiring no touch-ups, and kindly gifted a voucher as well!

  • To encourage deeper connections, we also included conversation cards from Myndly, sparking meaningful interactions among our guests.

  • A special thank you to Hannah from Twinewood Studio, who beautifully captured the essence of the event. Her stunning photographs (all featured in this post) allow us to relive this gorgeous event!

Our Guest Speakers.

We were honoured to welcome Beth, the founder of Saint Jack, and Josh, the creator of Cwolf, who shared their entrepreneurial journeys and valuable insights. Their stories of perseverance and success were truly inspiring for everyone.
It was wonderful to have them not just as speakers but also as guests, giving our attendees the opportunity to network with this content king and queen!

Looking ahead

I am over the moon by the success of our second SABI Social Lunch and I’m so grateful for the positive feedback received. This journey has been incredible, and I'm excited to continue creating more opportunities for connection and collaboration!
